Care For My Apparel

Sweatshirts:

Our Unisex Mid-weight Pigment Dyed Crew has individual and unique vintage character we accomplish during our full garment dying process. Made with ultra soft cotton/polyester blend fleece in an assortment of amazing colors, these garments are as comfortable as they are eye catching. We use premium ring-spun cotton to achieve a smooth and stable fabric surface for printing. Completed with our quality construction, and 1x1 ribbing at cuffs and waistband in a standard unisex fit.

Care Instructions:
  1. Turn Inside Out: Turn the sweatshirt inside out to protect the outer surface during washing.

  2. Cold Water Wash: Use cold water to prevent fading and shrinkage. Hot water can cause the dye to bleed.

  3. Gentle Cycle: Select a gentle or delicate cycle on your washing machine to minimize abrasion.

  4. Mild Detergent: Use a mild, color-safe detergent. Avoid bleach or harsh detergents that can strip the color.

  5. Avoid Overloading: Do not overload the washing machine. Give the sweatshirt enough space to move freely.

  6. Wash Similar Colors Together: Wash with similar colors to avoid color transfer.

  7. Air Dry: It's best to air dry the sweatshirt. Lay it flat on a clean, dry towel or hang it up. Avoid direct sunlight, which can cause fading.

  8. Avoid High Heat: If you must use a dryer, use the lowest heat setting and remove the sweatshirt while it's still slightly damp to prevent shrinkage.

  9. Store Properly: Store your sweatshirt in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight to maintain its color.

The pigment-dyeing process gives each garment unique character. Please allow for slight color variation in production and washing

ALWAYS WASH SEPARATELY BEFORE WEARING TO AVOID BLEEDING ISSUES

Due to the nature of the dyeing process employed with Comfort Colors® pigment dyed shades, loose pigments may remain on the surface of the garments even after the first wash. We therefore strongly recommend washing these garments only with like-colored garments, as some of the pigment dyes may stain light-or white-colored garments in the wash cycle. Washing the garments in cold water will reduce the possibility of staining. Shade variations are inherent in the garment dyeing process. Our garments are pre-shrunk during the garment dye and wash processes for almost no shrinkage at home.

Pigment dye colors These colors provide a vintage look that will remain for the life of the garment.

Reactive dye colors Provide a traditional dyed appearance, with the same great softness.
